About Benegent Health, Social Innovation

Founders Note:   

     With 26 years of experience/ 13 Years at the Executive level in Community Behavioral Health in the Public Sector, I have put together a collection of my top skills, assets, and passions for the field of Social Work to develop Benegent Health, a Social Innovation Consulting Company. The purpose is to share a wealth of knowledge gathered over an amazing career journey spanning a quarter century with people and communities to make the world a better place. 

     As an avid seeker of new opportunities and business ventures, I want to help social sector businesses and communities succeed using innovation to fuel new ideas, create novel solutions, build wealth, and create positive change. I entered into leadership and management roles early in my career. It was then that I discovered my unique ability to develop complex clinical behavioral health programs and bring my ideas to fruition. I advanced up the career ladder quickly becoming known as a “fixer” for various lines of agency business based on my ability to organize, make fast improvement in operations, and create value. During these years I provided leadership training, clinical training, and oversight of an increasing number of projects. My first assignment at the executive level was management of the acquisition and integration of a behavioral health company.  From this point, I found my way into building wealth through Grant Projects, which became a favored passion. As an executive and grant project developer, I learned financial and organizational analysis, budget and proposal writing, and how to create and apply strategy. I learned that I am an innovator and challenger of convention with drive for action. 

     It is my dream now as I step out of the role of an operational Vice President at the provider level to reinvent and invest talents as the CEO of my own Social Innovation Company where I can pursue social change initiatives and give my talents to Social Sector business in a new and productive way on a full-time basis.
